The Silva House where I live
My bedroom
A painting by my host mom that decorates our living room
Pontificia Universidad Catolica - Campus Oriente (where I have Spanish class)

The inner courtyard of the campus (the colored thing is a student's art project experimenting with color - it is a series of clear cups filled with colored water and stacked)
Algorrobo Beach

An ambiguous road sign - does anybody know what this means??

The resort at Algorrobo home of the world's largest swimming pool - the pool stretches the length of the five pyramid-type buildings

Street performers downtown in La Plaza de Armas - there are lots of all types of performers throughout the city

The city as seen from a big hill called San Cristobal

i like your pictures, but your writing is basically like having you read it to me... very you. i think that sign means the sheilds on the cannons are full. maybe a warning sign or something. i miss you. toodles

  3. hey. i like your blog. ever need any advice, i might be able to help (resident visa, carnet, checking accounts, etc). easiest way to calculate exchange rate is to double their "thousands," then subtract a bit. 2 mil = little less than $4.

    hope you're well. i'm cold too. :)

  4. the sign clearly means "leprechauns have knocked pots of gold under the rainbow." now you understand why they did pictures and not writing. because if they had written all of that, it would be a danger to drivers!
